The next Jim Carrey film will be a dark comedy! No surprises though since the actor has proved his versatility, in several project. In his next film he’s playing Steven Russell, a married father whose exploits landed him in the Texas criminal justice system. While in Prison he meets Philippe Morris, his cell mate and they fall in love… When Morris is finally set free, Russel’s passion will make him escape several times from prison, so he ends up with a 144 years sentence. The film is an adaptation of Houston Crime Reporter Steve McViker’s fact based book, that is adapted for the screen by the writing duo of Terry Zwigoff’s Bad Santa, Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who will also make their directing debut. The love interest will be impersonated by Ewan McGregor who has already had his share of homosexual love in Peter Greenaway’s The Pillow Book, Haynes’ Velvet Goldmine and Ed Blum’s Scenes of Sexual Nature (ranked here from full to no nudity). Let’s see how the dierctors-writers team will that the whole subject, since it can really turn into complete camp. And here are some pictures from the shoot as published by the bad and ugly

And this picture is why I got so excited. I don’t care if Carrey plays the gay guy, or if McGregor will be homosexual in another movie, or how campy they will be dressed. The greatest thing is that Rodrigo Santoro is standing next to the campy Carrey. He plays also a gay guy (if only it was true) and the news are that he will be as flamboyant as playing Xerxes in 300.
I can’t wait to see him…he is one of my greatest and i don’t care if Jim Carrey loves Philippe Moris.
I Love you Rodrigo Santoro
I am sure my beloved one you won’t be upset since you had the same crush.

Well… I think Rodrigo Santoro is a bit overestimated…
However, there’s this scene in one of my favourite movies (”Love Actually”), when he gets undressed (quite tenderly I’d say) by Laura Linney and he is soooooo hot!

Dear Giannis PPM: You have to watch this Brazilian Film called Behind The Sun by Walter Salles, and realise how beatiful he is, I know it’s a question of photography and blah bah blah but his image is stuck in my mind, and then came this scene you are talking about. Even in 300 people found him beautiful.
